Costa Rican architect Benjamin Garcia Saxe‘s latest project, Containers of Hope, is a new iteration of the shipping container house.Using two discarded shipping containers, he’s created an affordable and attractive modern home. Fabio del Percio, an Italian upholsterer, recently launched this attractive new line of furniture made from Icelandic hay and transparent vinyl. The series is called "Hey" andavailable at U.K. retailer e-side. Pictured here is "Transparent Chair", which weighs 18kg and has a £540 price tag. Product designer Giha Woo of Korea has combined an mp3 player with an electrical plug. Called Plug and Player, the conceptual product is designed to be charged by plugging it directly it into the mains electricity. It features buttons to control playback on the front and a headphone socket where the flex would be on a normal plug. Generally, users use a plug to charge a digital device, but the size of plug is big enough to play the role as mp3 player. This design is a kind of minimalism through convergence of plug and mp3 player. However, the unique value to be able to find between inevitable objects will outweigh that. La Samoa, Nantes Métropole et l’école supérieure des Beaux Arts avaient lancé un concours pour leur transformation mais aussi la réalisation de l’Ecole des Beaux Arts le 16 avril 2010.
